UMRBA has hosted a series of workshops focused in setting strategic direction for implementing water level management on the Upper Mississippi River System.
The 2017 workshop focused on better understanding the feasibility for implementing water level management from an operational standpoint and sharing agencies' perspectives for utilizing water level management as a tool for improving or rehabilitating ecological conditions.
The 2018 workshop focused on setting a vision and mission statement for the UMRBA Water Level Management Regional Coordinating Committee as well as priorities for the Committee in 2018.
The 2019 workshop focused on evaluating ecological goals for implementing water level management.
Additionally, in 2021, UMRBA convened a series of workshops with an ad hoc group of the Water Level Management Regional Coordinating Committee. The report summarizing the discussion and outcomes is available at this link: [coming soon!].
